Meet Julia Izu!

Julia grew up in Southern California, where she immersed herself in the world of competitive dance. She trained extensively across a wide range of styles, from tap to pointe and virtually everything in between, cultivating both technical versatility and a deep appreciation for artistic expression.

She continued her academic and creative pursuits at Brigham Young University, earning a BA in Communication Studies with a Minor in Contemporary Dance. Soon after, she relocated to New York City to broaden her professional dance training and was selected for Broadway Dance Center’s Professional Semester in Fall 2023. She has remained in New York since, consistently training, performing, and engaging with the city’s dynamic arts community. Julia also returns to California frequently and values the opportunity to take class and remain connected to her roots on the West Coast.

Julia places a strong emphasis on mental well-being, inclusive environments, and transparent communication in all creative and professional spaces. She is committed to fostering atmospheres where individuals feel supported, seen, and fully empowered to express their most authentic selves.
